Gage Properties is a private property development, investment and asset management company who specialise in the renovation, refurbishment and development of residential and commercial properties in prime London locations and nationwide.
The Chalk Lane is a Listed property comprising two parts, Woodcote (early 18th century) and Heathcote (an extension dating from the 19th century). The Client obtained planning consent to convert the existing buildings into residential apartments and duplexes, as well as to construct a new-build extension to the rear. Ademchic was asked to curate all aspects of the development, from interior design and marketing, up to the final show home installations. The challenge was to create interiors that preserve and enhance the building’s character whilst incorporating contemporary features that will attract buyers.
Despite the inherent complexities with historic renovations, less than halfway through the project, Ademchic has been able to save the Client £80,000 in kitchen costs alone, while maintaining the Client’s vision and expectations of modern yet timeless quality. We were also asked to quickly turnaround the project branding, enabling the Client to start off-plan marketing a year ahead of completion. Overall, Ademchic is projected to save well over £200,000 through smart interior design and sourcing choices.
